Valeria Zaccheddu è un' illustratrice e artista di Macomer. paese della Sardegna centrale. La sua ricerca creativa spazia dal disegno alla textile art passando per la moda e il design di accessori. "Amo il rumore della matita che sfiora il foglio quanto quello dell'ago che scorre da una parte all'altra del tessuto. Con entrambi posso lasciare un segno e raccontare una storia" Dopo il diploma in Fashion Design e vari corsi di illustrazione, stampa sul tessuto e ricamo d'alta moda, tra Roma, Milano e Bologna, decide di tornare a Macomer, dove prosegue il proprio percorso artistico. da diversi anni collabora con la Libreria Emmepi nella quale espone i suoi lavori e cura laboratori creativi. "Mi piace pensare al mio lavoro come a un gioco in cui colori dai toni pop, fili, carta, tessuti, ricami, pennarelli interagiscono fra loro, si mischiano, si confondono per creare nuove immagini e nuove forme."
